I love your dvds man. The best I have seen teaching control and restraint techniques. These actually work! In my job handling behaviors and aggression at an institution for the mentally retarded, I know that controlling and restraining someone is not easy! Even the smaller teenage kids can be a real pill! I simply could not control some of these people with pure strength or using the stuff the institution taught.

These clients bite, headbutt, & scratch more than they punch or kick. It's like a feral, institinctive, animalistic thing I guess. I was thrilled that you addressed the realities of the headbutt and biting in your series. The other resources seem to ignore the reality of the headbutt.

"I got the DVD...it's great! After watching it I thought- 'Hhmmm, maybe I should try this out with some of my students at the gym'. At the gym we all watched the Rhino siko part, and then I let them go at it.

It's fairly simple concept so I let them go at it without much instruction to see how well they could grasp what the DVD potrayed. The only part that they asked about was Focus Mitt placement for training with the focus mitts (which was covered) and foot placement/movement.

I later packed everybody in a corner (nightclub setting) had them dance (funny) and made one person get through with a Rhindo Siko. This was pretty fun and everybody got to see that it worked!"
